Great afternoon fishing trip with Doug and the crew. Started off a bit slow at first fishing spot but Doug adjusted and took us to the sweet spot which landed us nice haul of Walleye. Perfect trip for my son and nephew to catch their first big fish...much appreciated for Doug and his crew for a great experience.

Awesome day fishing with Windrift Charter! Captain Douglas got us on the fish and First Mate Ken kept the lines out and the action moving. Great time for all of us. Douglas and Ken were great to have conversations with and everything went very smoothly on the trip. Highly recommend fishing with Windrift Charters.

Both the captain and the 1st mate were so accommodating and helped all of us have a great experience on a hot day when the fish were not biting. They worked their tails off to find the right spot and the right bait. We all were able to catch at least 4 fish each and even the ones we did not keep were so fun to catch. We ended up catching 18 good sized Walleye and the best part is they cleaned and bagged them for us.These are very experienced fishermen and they are so kind and patient. I will very easily book this again when I'm in the area. I highly recommend!!

Captain Doug & his Crew took us on an adventure of a lifetime!! 27” WALLEYE was our biggest catch. We were expecting to catch a few....we caught 8 each!!! His crew explained everything simply & went above & beyond to ensure we were all enjoying the charter. After returning to shore, the Captain & Crew cleaned & bagged our fish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! A 27 INCH WALLEYE!!!! It was as WHOPPER!!!

Wow what a good time!! It started out a little slow because of fog and smoke but we moved around and finally got on the walleye and it was a blast!! These guys are so nice and we were asking a million questions and they never were anything but completely awesome!!! We already booked another trip and can't wait to go again so much fun and effortless....well for us they were busting their butts all day. Thanks a lot guys we all appreciate you so much! My sons 18th bday was incredible thanks to you yall

The highlight of this experience was watching Captain Doug and his mate, Ken, work seamlessly together—it was impressive to see them manage 18 lines so efficiently. Captain Doug did an excellent job keeping us on the fish, while Ken worked tirelessly to ensure everyone had a great time, even excelling at netting our catches. As someone who owns a boat in Montana and often takes others fishing, I truly appreciate the effort it takes to stay on active fish, and they executed this superbly. I’m also grateful for the excellent communication leading up to the trip, ensuring we got out on the water before the rain. There’s not much I’d change, aside from my wife beating me for the biggest catch of the day! I’m already planning to bring my two grandkids up next June to experience this themselves. We ended the day with 25 walleye and two perch—perfect for a fish fry tonight. Thank you both for an unforgettable time!

Captain Doug was ready to hit the water the moment we arrived, and First Mate Ken was already aboard and prepared. Watching the two of them work together was truly impressive. Throughout the day, I kept asking about the terms they were using, and they patiently explained everything without hesitation. The entire experience was absolutely AMAZING! We reached our limit of fish and headed back, but the trip didn’t end there. While cleaning our incredible catch, they showed us the best way to freeze the fish to preserve their fresh flavor. They even shared some delicious recipes that I’m excited to try! It was clear from the start that both Captain Doug and First Mate Ken are passionate about what they do. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time—and we absolutely did! Thank you both for such an unforgettable day! We’ll definitely be back. This charter deserves a 10-star rating!

We went on our first charter boat trip as a family, with my wife and two teenage boys. Captain Doug and Ken were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain everything, ensuring the fishing trip went smoothly from start to finish. Although it was a hot August afternoon and the beginning of the trip was slow, Captain Doug skillfully circled around and found a few productive spots. By the end, we caught 16 walleyes, including a 26.5-inch one, 2 perch, 1 catfish, and several sheephead that we released, even though they were a fun challenge to reel in. We were very satisfied with the experience and I highly recommend this charter!
